It was a good Thanksgiving, with Mimi & Papa up here visiting for Thanksgiving. Mimi made 2 pies and 2 salads, so that helped out a lot with the food preparation. All I had to do was the turkey, potatoes, green beans, sweet potato casserole, rolls. We had a pretty scaled back version because it was just the 5 of us (Nicole just had her cereal).
Before the feast, Natalie had a feast at school. It was a nice time, seeing her and her classmates eat a "feast" of chicken nuggets, some veggies, and fruit/cheese. They were really quiet, but enjoyed having the parents there as well. They sang "10 little turkeys" to the tune of "10 little Indians" (but much more PC!). They were all cute with a headband and feathers and a macaroni necklace! Nicole was kind of fussy during the time, but finally went to sleep almost at the end.

I am definitely thankful for salvation in Jesus, family that supports, wonderful daughters, a extra special husband. God has provided for us so well. It is great to reflect and be thankful -- just stopping for a while and thinking of all the blessings. There are so many!
