Going to the...Doctor?

Today, we had to go to Nicole's doctor. During the hospital stay, her bilibutrin results were 6, then a total 8. We had to go for a quick checkup and then lab work for another total. I know now why they take the babies into the nursery. It is so tough to see your child have her foot pricked and what looks like a lot of blood removed. You want to tell the nurse to just take it out of you! The result came back today as 10, and we were advised to take Nicole in the sunshine as much as possible. This is a little different than we had seen others put under lights; however, we are getting some good use out of the infant stroller this evening.
Nicole is feeding well, but it appears she has still lost a little more than the 10%. I was quite surprised to hear she had measured 5 lb 7 oz.
We just request prayers as these situations should be temporary. We give God the glory in advance.

Sherri, I rejoice with you!! How beautiful your little Nicole is. I love the photo of your family of 4. Isn't that the most amazing feeling when you see Natalie looking down at her little sister with such love?! It's a little rough at first (managing two kids), but you are in store for such precious times ahead. It took me about 4 months to get a grasp on having two so don't let yourself get too down if things seem to be extra crazy for a while. Natalie is a whole year older than Philip was when Braewyn was born so you guys might just breeze through it all beautifully!! I'd love to come for a visit in a month or so.

Hey,
In 2 months I will have been a mother of 2 for 2 years. I STILL don't feel like I have a grasp on it! LOL!
;-)

What a Miracle!
